In Memory of Jason Paul Adkins

March 6, 1978 - July 4, 2008

My Son Jason

Jason...

I remember the day you came into this world,....
So small, tiny, and so innocent,....
I loved you so much from that day on....
And I knew you were just like me.....
You were such a happy baby,....
Hardly ever did you have tears,....
You played so quietly by yourself....
And did not have any fears.....
You grew up into a man....
With a heart of gold,....
And today I know that the Angels....
Have you wrapped within their hold.....
Today you have been given a gift of love....
And that gift is Freedom.....
As I look to the skies....
And I watch the eagles fly....
I will know that you are always with me.....
I will always love you, my son.....
